September 27, 2024
A convergence meeting brought together Medical Officers In-Charge (MOICs) and Health Education Officers (HEOs) from Urban Primary and Community Health Centers (UPHCs/UCHCs) serving intervention slum communities. The primary focus of this gathering was to reinforce the sustainability strategy of the Aao Batein Karein (ABK) program and to foster stronger collaboration for the delivery of high-quality family planning services.
The meeting provided a valuable platform for key stakeholders to review the progress of the ABK initiative, openly discuss challenges, and align their collective efforts towards achieving improved family planning outcomes. Participants shared a strong sense of commitment to sustaining the momentum of the ABK program through enhanced coordination and ongoing support for frontline health workers (FLWs) and depot holders.
By working together and supporting those at the forefront of community health, the group reaffirmed its dedication to ensuring that quality family planning services reach those who need them most. This collaborative spirit promises to further strengthen the impact of the ABK program at the grassroots level, paving the way for healthier and more empowered communities.
