Empowering Health: Ensuring Newborn Survival, Combatting Malnutrition, and Amplifying Children's Voices

Description of the project -  


The main issue is to work around RMNCH+A which addresses the life cycle approach among children, adolescents, and women in the geographical location of Mohanlal ganj with direct intervention in identified 11-gram panchayats covering a population of a 35000 approx. The Important indicators for the project will be Literacy, IMR, Malnutrition, and Adolescent Anemia. The infant mortality rate is lower for children whose mothers have more than 10 years of schooling than for mothers who have less than 10 years of schooling or no schooling at all.

Objective 

  • Survival of newborns ensured  through strengthening preventive and protective mechanism on maternal and child health.
  • Reduction of malnutrition among children under 0-5 years through strengthening community level initiatives and improving service of government institutions.
  • Enhancing the agency of children and adolescents so that they are adequately represent their voices on issues concerning them.
