The Targeted Intervention project, supported by UPSACS and active from FY-2020 onwards, is designed for specific groups including Female Sex Workers (FSW), Men Sex with Men (MSM), Transgenders (TGs), Injecting Drug Users (IDUs), and Frontline Workers (FLW) along with local leaders. The project primarily addresses issues related to HIV/AIDS and Reproductive Tract Infections/Sexually Transmitted Infections (RTI/STI). The intervention spans both urban and rural areas of District Deoria, Uttar Pradesh. The outcome of the project is Transmission from HIV to AIDS has been prevented in all 1000 clients across the specified typologies, and linkages with public health services have been established.
